Vampir provides a large set of different timeline and summarizing chart representations of performance events. Powerful zooming and scrolling allows to pinpoint the real cause of performance
problems.

Most displays have context-sensitive menus which provide additional information and customization options. Filtering capabilities for processes, functions, messages or collective operations help to reduce the information to the interesting spots. The coupled (time & processes) displays feature automatic updates of statistics.

Timeline displays for process groups or single processes show application activities and communication along a time axis which can be zoomed and scrolled.

Summary displays provide quantitative results for arbitrary portions of the timelines. References to source code lines are available with compiler support.
